Join Special Health Resources for its Community Health and Resources Expo, happening Sept. 25, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Maude Cobb Convention Center, 100 Grand Blvd. in Longview.

Visit with local organizations, learn more about health and community resources, enjoy food trucks, guest speakers and more.

What is BHIP?

Behavioral Health Improvement Program (BHIP) intends to close the gap in accessing primary and behavioral healthcare. Services include behavioral health, substance abuse and primary healthcare for those with a mental or substance use disorder who seek care. Services will be administered in a culturally relevant manner to residents in Anderson, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Delta, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Panola, Rains, Red River, Rusk, Smith, Titus, Upshur, Van Zandt and Wood counties.

  • Access to healthcare and supportive services
  • Case management and care
  • Mobile 24-hour crisis intervention
